MacAlpine Club : 2012

Since 2007, MacAlpine has taken groups of students and friends on the trip of a lifetime to Queenstown, New Zealand, for 10 days of adventure, skiing, and snowboarding.

The annual countdown to NZ 2012 has officially begun! Each year MacAlpine takes 88 students to Queenstown for 10 days of havoc! Filled with skiing, boarding and of course, drinking, this trip is purely social so there’s no need to be able to ski or board as you can learn while you’re there!

The 2012 trip will be held from the 17th of July until the 26th of July, costing $1825 for Mac students (and Alumni) and $1875 for non-Mac students. The trip includes:

Return airfares direct to Queenstown;
Return airport transfers;
9 nights accommodation in the centre of Queenstown (Base Discovery Lodge);
6 days skiing at all 4 resorts accessible from Queenstown (Coronet Peak, Remarkables, Treble Cone and Cardrona);
Daily door-to-door bus transfers to/from ski resorts;
Team uniform (hoodie, t-shirt, lanyard and bandanna);
9 action filled nights in one of the craziest towns ever! Including drink deals (why pay a lot for drinks when you don’t have to?!);
Free days to discover Queenstown – from skydiving to bungee, jet boating or lugeing;
Discounts on adventure activities in NZ;
Team dinner;
10 unforgettable days in NZ!

Please note the trip does NOT include ski/board hire, clothing hire, lessons or travel insurance. However, all can be arranged at discounted prices.

In saying all this, get in now to secure your spot! Deposits due dates are as follows:

$500 due ASAP (plus $15 for MacAlpine membership). Come see us at the MacAlpine stall during O Week to pick up your membership keyring!
$500 due March 18.
$825 (MQU students) or $875 (non-MQU students) due April 15.
